UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson Street, Vancouver

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to join the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP) for the 41st annual meeting in Vancouver this month. The annual meeting is the premier Canadian conference for biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology; for the past 34 years, the CCNP has brought together some of Canada’s leading researchers and clinicians representing all major Canadian universities as well as top research organizations and pharmaceutical industry partners.

This year’s event will highlight UBC research, and will include talks from Drs Fidel Vila-Rodriguez, Robert Stowe, Anthony Phillips, William Honer, Victor Viau, and Yu Tian Wang.

“The annual CCNP meetings are designed to facilitate an exchange of ideas and research findings between psychiatrists involved in treatment and research, academic neuroscientists, industry partners in drug development, and trainees,” says Dr. Catharine Winstanley, a member of the local organizing committee with Drs Alasdair Barr and William Honer.

Founded in 1978, the CCNP is an organization of around 300 psychiatrists and basic science researchers, largely based within Canada, with a common interest in the brain mechanisms involved in mental disorders and their treatment.
